On-site Services
Module Programming & Flashing
- Install software on new/replacement modules so they work with your car
- Update existing modules with latest factory software (bug fixes, performance improvements)
- VIN sync so new modules are recognized by the vehicle network
Key & Remote Programming
- Program new keys and remotes
- All-keys-lost situations (emergency key programming when you have zero working keys)
- Immobilizer/anti-theft resets when modules get replaced or swapped
- Please Note: Proof of vehicle ownership may be required for some services. Generally all that’s needed is a title and identification matching the title.
Calibration & Relearns
- Throttle body relearn (after cleaning or replacement)
- Steering angle sensor calibration (after alignment or steering work)
- ABS module adaptation (after brake work)
- Battery registration (tells the car it has a new battery so charging system adjusts properly)
Module Cloning
- Clone data from old module to replacement (used-to-used or used-to-new)
- Unlock/virginize used modules so they can be reprogrammed for a different vehicle
- Read and edit EEPROM data directly for custom repairs
- Please note: this does not encompass any “tuning” or “deletes” that violate state or federal law.
Instrument Cluster Services
- Repair cluster software issues
- Mileage correction/sync when clusters are swapped
- Please note, MAP will not perform any illegal mileage adjustments. Please be prepared to provide accurate mileage. Most of the time I can pull the correct mileage, but in cases where I can’t; MAP reserves the right to to deny service to any individual or entity when actual mileage is unable to be obtained.

Module Syncing/Cloning, Flashing/Programming, Cleaning/Virginizing/wiping, and Re-writing
How it works
- You send in your module (used or new or both if cloning)
- Provide us the VIN, mileage (if applicable), and fault codes
- We extract the data off the EEPROM, make corrections, or wipe it completely
- We then write your vehicles’ data onto it
- We send your module(s) back.
- If you paid a core charge, and the old core is viable, we may be able to pay it for you in exchange for the core.
- PLEASE NOTE: sometimes the module will still need to be programmed/relearned after it’s installed in the vehicle,
which we can do in Tyler, Texas and the East Texas area, or we can help you find someone near you.
